MGN Public School

On April 3rd, MGN Public School Kapurthala joyously commemorated World Health Day, embracing the theme ' MY HEALTH MY RIGHT'. Our students came together to promote the importance of good health and well-being through various engaging activities, workshops and discussions. From these informative sessions on nutrition and fitness to mindfulness exercises and health screenings, it was the day filled with learning and vigour. 

  Little hands and imaginative minds came together in a creative burst of energy during the “ Best out of waste ” competition held  for Grade 1-2 students . AIM :-  The competition focused on bringing an understanding among the children about preserving the environment by reusing and recycling waste material.   Fantabulous ideas were demonstrated using material like newspaper, old CDs, used plastic bottles, ropes, ice cream sticks, bangles, shoe boxes etc. Students enjoy participating in this activity 

  "COOKING WITHOUT FIRE" Students of Junior Wing of MGN Public School, Kapurthala donned their ‘ Chef Caps’ to exhibit their culinary skills in ‘ Cooking Without Fire’. Children participated with full zeal and enthusiasm as they doled out nutritious yet delectable delicacies A rtefacts and food items displayed were a visual treat and were presented in an artistic and aesthetic style. Pr incipal, Mrs Parwinder Kaur Walia and school coordinators were overawed by the efforts of the participants.

Exciting Day of Explorations! The students of Class 2nd at MGNPS had an exciting and educational day  as they embarked on an excursion to explore the local Post Office and ' More Supermarket'. It was a day filled with learning, curiosity and fun . The  expedition provided the young students with valuable lessons about the post office's role in communication and the importance of grocery stores in our daily lives .  i They also learned about teamwork, organization, and the concept of buying and selling.   The day ended with happy and smiling faces returning to the school. Furthermore they enjoyed yummy pot lunch at school. This excursion was not just a field trip but a day of fun-filled learning that the children will cherish for a long time.

  BOOK FAIR The book fair was organised in the school and much appreciated by the parents. Half yearly Newsletter of the school was released by Mr. Lal Vishwas Bains, SDM Kapurthala District and Mrs. Sheetal Bains (Assistant Professor NIT). . The parents of the children watched the book fair with great enthusiasm .    Principal of the school thanked the Chief guest and the parents for their cooperation and support.

" Seminar on financial literacy "     A seminar from CBSE on financial literacy was organized  in MGN Public School Kapurthala OBJECTIVE :  To understand where and how we can invest our money wisely.  The seminar was started by lighting the lamp by the school principal Mrs. Parwinder Kaur Walia, resource person Nagesh Kumar.  The role of resource person in this seminar was played by Mr. Nagesh Kumar who has 15 years of financial planning experience and is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.  Shri Nagesh Kumar  gave detailed information about financial planning and maintaining your financial health. At the end of the seminar, Mrs. Parwinder Kaur Walia thanked everyone.
